Coinbase reported Q1 2026 after the close on Wednesday and the headline was ugly: revenue $1.41 billion versus the $1.48 billion sell-side number, a 31% drop year-over-year. GAAP net loss of $394 million, or minus $1.49 per share, dragged down by $482 million in unrealized losses on the Bitcoin sitting on the balance sheet.
